
This site is sponsored by the Centre for Stress Management, London, England. The Centre was set up in 1987 to provide information about stress and its management. It offers training programmes at introductory and advanced levels for health and management professionals interested learning how to manage stress for their particular client groups or organisations. It provides a range of counselling and psychotherapy programmes in cognitive behaviour therapy, rational emotive behaviour therapy, multimodal therapy and problem focused therapy. It runs workshops on brief therapy and solution-focused therapy. The courses and programmes are held in London, England and Edinburgh, Scotland. In addition, it offers a stress counselling service and helps organisations to develop stress management programmes and undertake stress audits. The Centre runs in association with the Centre for Multimodal Therapy and the Centre for Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy. The Centre provides a range of publications and self-help material on counselling, psychotherapy and managing stress. This includes a free online stress newsletter.
